Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and be skilled in providing therapeutic services to diverse populations. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and offering psychotherapy for individuals with various mental health challenges, including trauma-related mental health issues, TBI injuries, and PTSD. The Clinical Psychologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Must have Psychology License in TX and/or CO.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Engage in clinical research to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices.
Offer specialized care for patients with PTSD and TBI injuries.
Participate in intake processes and provide ongoing patient support throughout their treatment journey.
Neuropsychological testing and understanding of Neuropsychological terms
Stay informed about medical terminology and anatomy relevant to psychological practice.
Experience
Specialization in Neuropsychology
Post-residency experience in a clinical setting is required.
Proven experience in counseling or therapeutic roles.
Familiarity with neurocritical care practices is a plus.
Experience in clinical research is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical records management and documentation standards is essential.
Strong understanding of mental health issues related to TBI injuries.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
